If they're calling me they're casting a WIDE net. This isn't the lady down the street calling. This is a Mellon-Scaife type operation.

I've been getting a few of those but I screen my calls via answering machine. The majority of phone spammers hang up without leaving a message.

Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, local right wing talk show hosts, etc. It's being bankrolled by some entity--probably the RNC. There's a thread about it somewhere around here.

I heard the usual pause then the recording started.. Male voice. Think "Up With People". "HI. Have you heard about the taxpayer Tea Party on April ..." and I hung up. I don't listen to unsolicited calls of any kind and nobody calls my home phone but solicitors anymore. For some reason I picked it up this time.
