Simpsons postage stamps ready
NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - "Simpsons" fans can get the first peek at stamps featuring Homer, Marge & Co. -- and vote for their favorite -- when the U.S. Postal Service unveils the designs Thursday morning.

The stamps will be available nationwide on May 7.

"This is the biggest and most adhesive honor 'The Simpsons' has ever received," said creator and executive producer Matt Groening.

12. Wellstone has not been dead for ten years
USPS policy is a person must be dead for ten years before they can be considered for a stamp. The only exception is for Presidents of the United States.

11. You DO know that you can make your own postage stamps, right?
Sites like this:

http://www.zazzle.com/custom/stamps

allow you to make U.S. postage stamps using any image you'd like.

You pay a premium (I don't think Zazzle is the cheapest, I just use it as an example) but you can make your own custom stamps.

14. I remember Bush the first saying we need more families like the Waltons
and fewer like the Simpsons. Sort of helped reveal how out of touch he was at the time.

IN YOUR FACE, GHWB!!!
