http://www.military.com/news/article/April-2009/air-force-colonel-cleared-of-promoting-religion.html?ESRC=dod.nlDuring my career in the military (five years Army) I only encounter one incident of religious bullying, which occurred in basic training and was instantly and effectively dealt with by one of my drill sergeants. However, this sort of stuff is still going on, and it's really a discredit to our people in uniform. For those unfamiliar with the rank system, a Colonel (the rank held by the person sending the video) is one rank below getting your first star and becoming a General...so it's a position of major influence.
An Air Force colonel has been cleared in an investigation into whether an e-mail she sent to her airmen violated the military’s stance of religious neutrality.
Col. Kimberly Toney, commander of the 501st Combat Support Wing at RAF Alconbury, sent an e-mail on Jan. 16 referring airmen to an "inspirational" video on a Roman Catholic Web site.

As first reported by online news magazine The Public Record, some Air Force personnel who watched the video said they believed it violated the military’s ban on endorsing particular religious views. Some said they were more bothered by other things on the Catholic Web site, 4marks.com, such as an image illustrating President Barack Obama’s support for abortion rights by showing the president in a Nazi uniform and waving a flag with a swastika on it.
Mikey Weinstein, head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said the incident represented a "textbook case" of improper religious influence, according to a New York Times story.
