3. yr wlcm....you might find this flickr.com site interesting:
excellent photographer, with tons of DC area pics, as well as historical vignettes to back them up, including some info on Alex Butterfield's bagmanship that I either forgot (don't think so, but....), or never came across, which, considering my Nixon obsession, I can't imagine

which reminds me.....speaking of Cellar Door, on the one-year anniversary of the resignation, I saw Proctor and Bergman(1/2 of Firesign Theatre) at the CD, and I 'won' an audience participation bit, which got me an audience, as it were, with them, after the show.

4. Link?
Please? Sounds interesting.

Ah, I miss the Cellar Door. That was such a great place. Nothing like it today, but, then, if it were open, where would we park?

Alexander Butterfield. I still remember the moment I heard his first mention of the taping system. I was at National, parking my car, getting ready to go into a terminal to pick up my husband who was returning from a business trip. (Those were the days - parking and skipping right to the gate!) And this man said this impossible thing. I sat in the car for a while, thinking, "Did he just say what I think he said?"

An accidental hero.

Anyway, thanks again for the Stewart/Letterman show, and, in advance, thanks for the link ................
