Congress: The Problem and the Solution
We have not good representation.
How could we? 600,000 to 1 are bad odds.

There is on average, 1 Representative for 600,000 people. In the beginning, it was 30,000 to 1. Much better odds back then.

As it is, special interests have the ear of congress while the people are ignored.

We need more representation. We need 1 representative for every 30,000 people. We could have it the space of a year. This is a bi-partisan issue. Every American deserves better representation and there is no better way to go about getting it.

You have a better idea?

We have 100,000 members on DU. The internet is the solution.
We don't need to hold hands, we just need representation on the votes that guide this country. Really quite simple, may be too simple for some?
