They are clearly inciting violence. Monica Crowley has found a way to make a cheap buck: Three hours a day inciting hatred for President Obama. That's all she does, and you need to know about yet another slime crawling out of the woodwork trying to outdo Limbaugh and Hannity in her hatred (and ratings). Yesterday, I flipped on her show just long enough to hear her tell her listeners that Obama hates America, and "thinks like the Somali pirates." WTF?? She is a compulsive liar, not just someone who mischaracterizes Obama's statements, but who makes up statements out of whole cloth.

Of all them out there trying to outdo one another, she is hardly the biggest fish. But she is an exemplar of the call to violence against our president to get her 30 pieces of silver, and that is what this garbage is all about. Here's her execrable website (which is also a piece of crap as a website): http://monicamemo.typepad.com/weblog/

Someone, somewhere, in the "leadership" of the Republican Party has got to call for an end to this call to violence. I'm not holding my breath.

1. It is pathetic
that these "talk show hosts" get away with this. I think we all support the First Amendment, but there are lines that are clearly getting crossed.

4. Agreed. They are making a big living inciting the GOP nutbase.
Although I DO wonder about Glenn Beck's sanity from time to time. Michael Savage's, too.

6. Monica the Plagiarist?
:)

Then, there's Monica Crowley, formerly of FOX News Channel, now on MSNBC, and with a radio show on WABC in New York. She's the white, blonde Jayson Blair in a skirt. But unlike the loud calls for his firing by conservatives everywhere, there is not even a peep from conservatives about thief Monica Crowley.

For an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, Crowley lifted whole passages about President Nixon from a Paul Johnson article in Commentary. She never admitted to it. She's banned from the Wall Street Journal because of it. But that's the only damage.

Even though she's written two books on Nixon and a Ph.D. thesis--all of which have raised lots of questions as to their veracity and whether she plagiarized those, too--conservatives continue to embrace peroxide plagiarist Crowley. (And she continues to snootily insist on being referred to as "Dr." Monica Crowley. Whatever.)

7. Also, Monica the sister-in-law of Alan Colmes.
Just goes to show that this crowd incites violence against President Obama and liberals for $$$$, and little else.

Sure wonder what happens around the Thanksgiving table in these families. Bunch of frauds on both sides of the ledger.

10. There will be no call to the end of violence
The Pukes are whipping up the frenzy. I think it is utterly irresponsible. Where are the people who were asking, "Why do you hate America?" For even daring to ask, "Why?" when the WTC was hit. It was, don't think, don't question, only react. And, react with waging war and rampant nationalism. We are dealing with 'reactionaries'. And they are already apoplectic, and it's barely been 3 months. They did the same thing to Clinton, almost from day one, the frivolous lawsuits were started, regarding Whitewater and the Rose Law, firm. Over and over one suit after another. We have the same people in here agitating, lying and starting trouble. We have home grown terrorists and their media sponsors. But hey, we are the Democrats, the nice guys, the fair guys, and you can walk all over us. No, with us, or you are with the terrorists, from us. Just go ahead and get your jack-boots and shave your head to the skin. No FBI or Homeland Security will infiltrate your group. That's for grandmothers making peace quilts. Two different breeds of cat.

11. Worse than when they went after Clinton.
They didn't have all the outlets then, and didn't have the explicit calls for violence that they do now. And Obama has only been in office for three months! Check this summary out, from Media Matters. Chilling: http://mediamatters.org/items/200904100033?f=h_latest

13. I read the whole thing
Amazing. This trend really frustrates me. I have to believe that people can see through this and that these newscasters are making fools of themselves. What I fear is that the people whom are brainwashed with this will be inspired to arm themselves for an insurrection. Glenn Beck could not have performed a more literal act with the pouring of gas over an individual, in order to set him on fire. He is an igniter of rage, an inflamer of hatred, and incendiary with his alarmist propaganda. He is a Media Sponsor of Terror. It worked in Rwanda.
