I was getting a haircut today and the news of the Alabama getting to Kenya broke. My hairdresser (barber?), who was a 30's hispanic woman said "Obama talks about peace and all, but if Bush was in charge, this pirate thing wouldn't have happened." She was cutting my hair so I had to measure my response or risk looking like Vanilla Ice.



I pointed out that this pirate stuff has been going on for a couple of years. And the pirates have 240 hostages. And that they've gone after American ships before including a CRUISE SHIP! She said that she didn't know that. Well no shit. You have Fox on the TV. You don't know much of anything. Anyway, I pointed that out and that the US has a long history of chasing pirates. She "understood now." Morans!
