2. Yeah, that's pretty much right.
Our appetite for drugs, our ridiculous drug laws, and our ludicrously lax gun laws have been powerful catalysts.

You know the kinds that are commonly used by Mexican drug gangs...

Where available on the US Civilian market??? I wonder where all that MILITARY hardware could come from then??....I bet all the military hardware that they are getting could be coming from the historically corrupt Mexican Military...

Blaming me, as an American Gun Owner, for Mexican problems, is BULLSHIT...

4. I say corrupt Mexican oligarchy...
causes narco=terrorism and crime. Stopping the flow (what there is) of guns tomorrow won't fix that.

5. Didn't our Secretary of State say the same thing...
a few weeks ago?

We are, after all, their best customer for dope, and they get guns cheaper and easier here.

6. There are, what, 12 million Mexicans working illegally in the US?
And they send home how many billions of dollars a year to their families?

If we actually did manage to stop that flow the Mexican economy would probably collapse.

7. Every time I see an article about a Mexican official concerned over the porous border I chuckle...

almost. Almost because its serious.

Of course it reasonable to talk to us about any illegal arms (although I'm sure there is misrepresentation about those guns).
