Tea Parties bringing out phonies from all walks of life
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/broward/sfl-tax-day-teaparty-b041309sbapr13,0,7513757.story
'Midway through a Fox News show hosted by Glenn Beck, one of her favorite radio and TV talkers, Lauren O'Brien began her transformation from mom, wife and full-time college student to activist.

She heard about "tea parties," a series of anti-tax protests planned for April 15 — the federal income tax deadline day — searched the Internet, and discovered none for Broward County.

Before Beck's program was off the air, she was the coordinator of the Broward Tax Day Tea Party. On Wednesday's protest agenda: opposition to taxes, the federal economic stimulus package, and bailouts of corporations and people who can't pay their mortgages, O'Brien said.

"I just am very disheartened with the things that have been going on lately with the government," said the Sunrise resident, who never did anything political before watching the Beck program a few weeks ago. "I shouldn't be having to pay for corporations. I shouldn't be having to pay for people who got themselves in a mortgage they couldn't handle."

Here's the best part...

'Even though she'll be on the front line protesting taxes and government spending, O'Brien said her husband's earnings as an apprentice electrician aren't enough to cover family health insurance. So their two children get their health care through the government's Medicaid program.'

Medicaid?!

Uninformed. Perpetually wrong. The irony is delicious.

3. Modern Day Lemmings...
It's too easy to laugh at the clueless, but it's even more amusing watching them walk into walls these days. So they're upset at the corporations squandering our economy, yet she's doing their dirty work. Ya gotta give the Faux and rushpublican propagandists their due...they've found easy marks and play them for all they're worth. They define insanity as doing the same thing over and over and not understanding why.

4. She should be mad at her parents
for raising a person who has no idea of irony.
