After smearing Obama, media figures call him polarizing
http://mediamatters.org/items/200904120004?f=h_latest

Summary: Several conservative media figures who have repeatedly spread falsehoods and smears of President Obama are now highlighting a poll analysis to suggest that Obama has polarized approval ratings, and have made the disputed suggestion that Obama himself has caused that polarization. snip

On the April 7 edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe, co-host Joe Scarborough claimed that the Pew poll analysis "said split the country more than any president in modern history." Scarborough later added, "It's more divisive than ever. I think there is a great separation between the personal affection and trust people have for Barack Obama and these policies. You have Joe Biden trying to push these policies -- they would put him in a penitentiary somewhere."

During the April 6 edition of CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight, host Lou Dobbs claimed, "Turning to political news, there's hard evidence tonight that President Obama is a more polarizing president than any other over the past four decades."

1. he is polarizing....
there are a set of rational people who are willing to give him a chance, and a set of irrational and/or racist republicans who aren't.

I like how they're trying really, really hard to spin him as worse or the same as Bush, despite breaking their spines bending over backwards to support Bush for doing the same (and worse) things.

Fucking pisses me off, frankly.

2. He is polarizing, but it's not his fault
it's the nut job right wingers that go crazy at the thought of a liberal or moderate president.

3. Funny how the M$M were able to completely ignore the majority of U.S. for eight years...
and still the minority gets all the airtime.

I'd like to show Lou Dobbs some polarization.
