at an American Legion hall in Loudon Saturday night after another veterans group shut them out of a Boston meeting hall last week, a state American Legion director said yesterday.
American Legion Post 88 staff apparently were duped into renting out the South Village Road hall and didn't know it would be used to host a Patriot Action event organized by East Coast White Unity in Boston and Volksfront, said Donald I. Holmquist, department adjutant for the American Legion in New Hampshire

Holmquist described the American Legion in Loudon as "a good post."
Still, he said a review of what happened will be done.
"We could take the charter away from them, for one thing, if we felt it was done on purpose," he explained.
Post 88 staff hired a lawyer yesterday and Dyment, the post commander, met with Police Chief Robert N. Fiske, Holmquist said. Dyment would not answer any questions yesterday.
"At this time, I can make no comments per order of my lawyers," Dyment said by telephone.
