A Poem for the Tea Parties
A Freepers lament:

I CAN FEEL MY COUNTRY DYING

By Carolyn Hart

I can feel my country dying. Can you not feel it too? Can you feel the pain and terror As the tyrant comes to view?

I can feel my country dying. I feel it every day. As Lady Liberty stumbles And freedom slowly loses its way.

Can you feel the dark age coming As it creeps across the land? Can you feel the bright light dying As civilization is damned?

Thank God there are those who see it clear Who know the time is nigh When they must rise above their fear And reclaim what will not die.

The patriots have seen the death throes And have come together as one To take responsibility And to do what must be done.

Patrick Henry would be proud of these patriots. And so would Thomas Paine. And a Paul Revere should volunteer To gallop his ride again.

Forget the cringe worthy bad poetry
Thomas Paine a freeper? Riiiight.
"Can you feel the dark ages coming" er,no.I can feel them leaving though, does that count?

1. Oh please. How's Obama a tyrant? He's won the election fair and square
by 8.5 million votes and earned 365 electoral votes.

2. Thomas Paine is to freepers as freepers is to intelligence
no correlation at all.

4. Glenn Beck references Thomas Paine and all the brainless
freepers mimic him. Of course, they would recoil in horror if they ever actually read anything he wrote.

3. I can feel my head exploding.
I can feel my head exploding from reading rw freeper rants.
I wish they'd learn to THINK for once, but I know they cant.
Drone and drone and drone and drone
Its all they ever do.
Such a waste of flesh and air... I wish they'd all eat poo.

:)

7. Those freepers REALLY don't like the tax cuts for 95%!
But I thought they were against tax increases, being the selfish cut-nose-to-spite-face types.

Very confusing.

8. Thomas Paine would not have supported the American Right
He was in favour of the left-wing movements of the day, and in particular in favour of greater economic equality. He was also very much opposed to what would now be called fundies.
