My response to MS-GE-NBC's survey regarding "Morning Jerk"

Yesterday there was an "urgent" e-mail telling me to be sure to watch at least half an hour to be able to be surveyed about it today. While there WERE some program related questions, actually this turned out to be mostly a promotion for Walgreen's "Wellness Bus." But there WAS a ratings grid for Mika, Scab, BURNETT, and the last question allowed for whatever comments, SO here're mine:


SCARBOROUGH, Pat BUCHANAN, and BARNICLE are a BLIGHT on t.v. --a failed politician who won't shut up, BUCHANAN a shameless NIXONite and fascist, and BARNICLE the plaigiarist. Why should decent people CARE what these reprobates say about anything? Who in the media decided years ago that ex-criminals like (on other networks) Dick MORRIS have special insight into the life of the community? Mika appears to be BATTERED by SCARBOROUGH. The show is much better with her and GEIST when SCARBOROUGH is not there, which is a LOT thankfully. You all were looking for a pale(r) version of the dastardly IMUS when he was run off the air? Why is it so difficult for network/cable programmers to come up with intelligent, investigative, public spirited programs and on-air personalities instead of hiring re-treads who have committed career crimes?

4. I'd like to refute the contention that I only

looked at this thread 'cos I thought it was that rarest of things, a sex thread that made it past the moderators.

This is obviously nothing but a vicious rumor and I'd like to take this opportunity to absolutely deny any such allegations that might arise.

As to the actual substance of your post, I do not and have not for a long time watched TV, so I have no idea who most of these people are (other than that they get a lot of press on DU and, of course, I definitely remember Buchanan), but if they're the kind I think they are then, yes, I applaud your response! :patriot:
