Teabag This: Taxes At Most Popular Level Since 1956!
Edited on Tue Apr-14-09 12:50 PM by Matariki
Once again, the very wealthy conning the Morans to work against their own interests...

<snip>
With a very large number of tea parties scheduled across the country tomorrow, one would presume that this would mean that sentiment on income taxes should be at an all-time low. After all, if over five hundred separate protest sites are planned, and the protests are widely reported as tax protests, shouldn't income taxes be as popular as the Black Death?

Well, we should give a little thought to the fact that these tea parties are bought and paid for by the big money in the Republican party. Jane has been on top of the involvement of Freedom's Watch and others in organizing the parties and the role of Fox News in pimping them.

Gallup has very bad news for the teabaggers: Views of Income Taxes Among Most Positive Since 1956

2. Wow! That's pretty remarkable.
You'd think after 40 years of non-stop conservative anti-tax propaganda the findings would be different. Simply stunning. :wow:

3. Most of the (hopefully very few) people who show up for these "parties"
tomorrow are truly fools.

The wealthy won't be the ones protesting, they don't have time for that. Most of the people who show up are actually paying less in taxes under Obama's plan they they were under Bush's plan.

So what's their beef? Taxes dropped for most of them, and that's a problem for them? Really, how stupid can you possibly be?

This shows us why idiots like George Bush get elected in the first place. Because there are so many just like him, and they do as they are told and get out and vote. Throw in some election fraud, and...well...you get the last 8 years.

The people who show up for the teabagging parties tomorrow are only drawing attention to the fact that they are sheep, and let others manipulate and do their thinking for them.

Idiots. Fools. They are the 30 percenters.

4. They truly are.
I find it baffling. It's what Michael Moore wrote under his chapter "Horatio Algers Must Die"

What sort of weird disconnect from reality makes people think they are actually part of the wealthy 5%, when in fact they are probably barely at the median income?

Dupes and stooges.

9. I hate paying taxes to a government that starts illegal wars.
But I pay my taxes out of fear of what would happen if I didn't pay them.
