What one quote, photo, video, etc. defines Bush for you?
For me, it was the mocking of Carla Faye Tucker. That told me that this is one of the most selfish evil men I have ever seen in my life. That and the "have/have mores you are my base" footage.

1. Contrasting your post re: Carla Faye Tucker and Bush's answer during a 2000 debate as to
who was the most influential person in his life and he stated without blinking Jesus Christ, this told me all I needed to know about Bush's regard to truth and compassion.

6. The expression on Bush's face during 9/11 in that Florida classroom.
He looked like a deer in the headlights, like he was completely out of his depth, like he didn't know what the fuck to do.

I remember arguing with my brother about Bush vs Gore way back in 2000 and I said words that still haunt me - that my biggest fear was that Bush as a president would fail all of us as a nation in a time of crisis. Unfortunately, I was proven right.

Other things had made me dislike him, but that cinched my belief that he was going to be dangerous to our country, especially with his little, "Heh, heh" afterwards.

the names of the leaders of some other countries. He didn't, of course, and he snapped at the reporter, something like "No, I don't know - do YOU?"

Right then I knew he was an idiot who was going to be used as the puppet by a cabal behind the scenes.

And it was so indicative of his personality - ignorance and arrogance.

He flew down there just for a photo-op. They ran electric power in to the block where his handlers had mics and cameras set up. He said a few words of pure bullshit and then hauled ass out of there. AF-1 wasn't even off the ground when they killed all the power they ran in to that part of NOLA just for his bullshit session. No doubt in my mind that asshole will go down in the books as the worst President ever.
