Can Al Franken file an appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court ......
..... so as to speed the whole thing up? Norm Coleman and his backers know they
have lost so the only thing they want to do is drag the whole thing out.

Norm will drag this damn thing out until summer or fall if he gets a chance.

3. I don't know but he can make the case that Coleman is using the courts ...
Edited on Tue Apr-14-09 02:38 PM by Botany
... to delay his lawful election as a U.S. Senator from Minnesota. Or he
could make a case that Minnesota is being denied it's Senator because of
Coleman's capricious law suits.

Because you know Coleman will take every last minute to file his appeal
just to be a prick.

10. If the governor still won't sign the election certificate, maybe?
The three-judge court has determined that the certificate should be signed.

2. Al won - the three-judge panel said so -
winners can't appeal.

Coleman's just being a prick for all the world to see. Doing a world of good for himself with the voters of Minnesota. I think it should be pretty easy for a Democrat next election, given the disgusting behavior of this good GOPig in this whole melodrama....................

5. Coleman has 10 days to appeal
And you know damn well that he'll use all 10 days before formally filing so as to kick the can a little more down the road.

6. And from there on to the SCOTUS and you know they will try to push "it" ...
to see if they can make it so as it gets to the court when they are on break.

7. If I were Al..........
.....I can assure you that I would be telling the GOP that if they want any, and I mean ANY, cooperation on ANY bill, they will cease and desist immediately! If not, I would not even take a single call from ANY republican for the ENTIRE duration of his term.
Give them one chance, and one chance only. If they decline, carry out the promise to the very end!
