Maybe there is justice: Senator Al Franken takes the late Paul Wellstone's
seat in the senate. There is something wonderful about Franken in that seat.

1. It's lovely, isn't it?
Lovely and sad. I think Franken will be a great Senator, one that Wellstone would have been proud of.

But, still, the ache of that loss is still sharp. I'll never believe it was an accident. Never..........................

3. Minnesotans: Don't ever let your new Senator fly in a small
plane. Please....

6. No.
Norman says he will appeal to the State Supreme Court and state law says Franken can't be seated as long as the election is being contested in state courts. It is believed that he could be seated if the state SC tells Norm to go to hell (in so many words) though there is a question about whether or not Pawlenty will sign the election certificate. Though, it is possible the court will order it signed.

7. Crap. I thought it was still being appealed.
Could it go all the way to the Supremos? I'm so sick of this!

5. He's good enough, he's smart enough, and gosh darn it: the voters LIKE him.
Norm Coleman should shut up, go away,
die of gonhorrea and rot in hell for all eternity.
