Kinky's going to run as a Democrat?
Edited on Wed Apr-15-09 06:02 PM by ColbertWatcher
Just now on The ED Show!?

(MINOR ELABORATION)
"Kinky" is Kinky Friedman, who ran as an "independent" candidate for governor of Texas and lost to Rick "Hair" Perry.

Ed Schultz had him on his show to talk about Hair's suggestion that Texas become a nation independent of the United States.

5. That's my question.
I thought he was a libertarian.

Maybe he wants to weaken the Dem candidate?

7. When he couldn't win as an Independent........
Edited on Wed Apr-15-09 05:54 PM by AnneD
he was funded by Perry suporters to split away Chris Bell and Carolyn Strayhorn further split vote. That's how that pudknocker Perry won with barely a third of the votes. Imagine being elected to an office in a state where 2/3rds the populace hate your guts and would work you over in a dark alley if they could.
