2. The why: ratings.

The who: I couldn't give you a list but it seems like every time I turn that channel on there's a commercial and it's always some low-rent product, like Chia-pets or Sham-wow or some no-name singer's "best of" CD. Seriously.

I know they have larger corporate sponsors b/c I remember UPS pulling ads from O'Really's show, but I couldn't tell you who the rest are.
