2. My local PBS dumped 14 employees last month.

And during that same month, we endured three full weeks of "Live Forever" and "Doo-Wop" programming/fundraising.

I'm watching Charlie Rose now. Just before the start, the station announced that they were going to digital-only broadcasting at high noon today. It's costing too much to keep the analog equipment going.

I long for the old days at PBS.

3. At least Charlie Rose puts his interviews up on his website the next day.

I'm going to suggest that to Tavis's show because this upheaval is going to last for a while. He's a great interviewer. :(
