Whoever said "The Teabag joke is silly - people won't get it" - OMG you were SO WRONG...
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 06:19 AM by LynneSin
I woke up to about 15 minutes of Teabag jokes along with the actual discription of teabagging from the local rock station here in Philadelphia. This wasn't some obscure liberal talk radio hidden away on the AM - this was WMGK 102.9 out of Philadelphia with legendary Philly DJ John DeBella going off the deepend laughing at the protesters and their use of the word DJ. He even found someone from an interview who said "It's hard to talk while Teabagging" and playing that short clip all morning.

So here is a popular radio station pretty much mocking this whole Tea Protest because of the use of a slang word that has crazy sexual meaning. If you're not someone politically involved and you walk up to someone who reads this wiki reading off on the radio:

Teabagging is a slang term for the act of a man placing his scrotum in the mouth<1> or on or around the face (including the top of the head) of another person, often in a repeated in-and-out motion as in irrumatio. The practice vaguely resembles dipping a tea bag into a cup of tea. Teabagging is also an erotic activity used within the context of BDSM and male dominance, with a dominant man teabagging his submissive partner, either a woman or a man, as one variation of facesitting and/or as a means of inflicting erotic humiliation.

How likely do you think those not politically active to want to join in with this nutbag teabaggers?

2. I had to explain the slang meaning of TB-ing to my
56-year-old, liberal boyfriend the other day.

I, however, smile whenever I hear a rabid RW-er on Fox go on and on about "teabagging".

4. It's particularly hard to talk while being teabagged.
The "It's hard to talk when you're teabagging" line was from AC360 show yesterday.

5. This is a testimony to how out of touch conservatives are with the young people
I'd bet that no voter under 30 doesn't get the joke and that most voters between 30 and 40 get it too.

9. Yeah he's still around but I just found out that Mark "The Shark" Drucker died of cancer
that was really sad, I had such a crush on him - I listened to the Morning Zoo for years, until Howard Stern broke that team up. Ironically Drucker worked for Stern way long time ago when Stern was a PD at a local station.

11. Sorry to hear about Mark the Shark, I didn't know. I remember the Morning Zoo on MMR back in the ..
...'80s when I had a 2 hour commute from Bucks County to South Jersey (DeBella, Louie Louie parades, etc.). Thanks for the flashback!

10. 1. that was anderson cooper i think 2. the wiki description leaves out that
Teabagging is a made-up, and, by-and-large, ludicrous sexual act. It's not like BDSM came up with the idea. Like people in certain circles can't wait to go home and teabag each other... no, it's a ridiculous.

12. well however Teabagging started, I know it was a word I learned the meaning over 15 years ago
I was waiting tables and before the shift started we were sitting around having our shift meal and well, talking a bit dirty. Some girl talked about how she liked to 'lick a guy's balls' and another person laughed out loud "OMG you're a teabagger".

Trust me, I never handled a regular teabag again without that image popping into my brain.

21. rotten > Library > Sex > Teabagging
http://www.rotten.com/library/sex/teabagging/
it was veteran director John Waters who reintroduced the concept of teabagging to worldwide audiences in the film Pecker.
...
John Waters has openly admitted that teabagging is by and large a ludicrous sexual act.

I took this to mean the John Waters invented the term. Did I read it wrong?

16. Keith Olbermann had a field day with it last night
His "#5" story was full of jokes about the double meaning. There was a "vas defrens" between the numbers who showed up for the "Tea Party" in Sacramento vs. the numbers that showed up there for anti-war rallies in 2003. LOL! And, that list he gave of towns holding "tea parties"--all I could think when he rattled it of was, "Oh no you di'in't!" Hahhahaha!!

17. Somehow, I feel, we won't be having 'teabagger' conventions next year.
Remember, in school, there was always that gullible sot that you could prank, time after time, and they never did get it? I always wondered what happened to those people.

Now I know.

18. "Event organizers Tom "Rusty" Trombone and Bob "Dirty" Sanchez were shocked..."
"I'm shocked to find that degenerates have perverted an innocent term like 'tea bagging'," said event spokesman Tom "Rusty" Trombone. Mr. Trombone is the CEO of an Ohio carpet cleaning service, Cleveland Steamer.

:sarcasm:
