For Coleman, the End is Near; For Senate Democrats, It's Not Near Enough
The MN Contest Court's air-tight, 68-page decision leaves no room for doubt: Franken won; But when will he be seated?
We take a look at his options...

As we accurately reported long before anybody else, there would be no more votes counted, even as the bulk of the rest of the media hedged their bets. So with all lawfully cast votes tallied determining that Franken was the victor, and Coleman lacking any legitimate legal recourse, as we’ve also reported, what are Franken's legal and political options now, and when might he finally take his rightful seat in the U.S. Senate?...

1. I love how Coleman's attorneys tried to use the Bush v. Gore equal protection standard.
The Supreme Court specifically said that it was a one-time deal but, alas, ol' Normie thought the law could make an exception for him.

2. I can't see the SCOTUS refusing a fellow republican.

3. I could....
I don't think they're very proud of Bush v. Gore. And I'd be surprised if they really wanted to go down that road again.

On the other hand, there are a few new Federalist Society judges now on that court, and they may wanna try their luck, since they weren't around the first time. We'll see.

Either way, after the MN Supreme's reject Coleman's appeal, I see no legal reason why the Senate shouldn't seat Franken.
