Involving Children In Your Politics Is Vile - Only If You Are Conservative
And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

Conservatives are racist, homophobic, selfish, and sociopathic. Their entire ideology is rooted in hate and fear, and I for one am completely appalled when I see children at their stupid "protest" rallies. I wish there was a way to enforce a law that takes children away from bad parents. Alas such a law would be too hard to define and enforce in any reasonable way that would not endanger the freedom of the rest of us liberals.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking children to an anti war protest, or a protest for universal health care, or a protest for gay rights. These protests are rooted in love, compassion, and a general caring for our fellow man.

Children at an anti "a black man is president" protest, on the other hand, is morally reprehensible and disgusts me to no end. These children are being taught to hate. That's really the bare bones of it.

I am sick to death of people pretending that liberals and conservatives are on the same playing field. We're not. Liberals are far, far more superior in moral values, intellect, honesty, and true compassion. Conservatives care only about one thing: Themselves. It's about "me, me me" for a conservative, while for a liberal it's always been about "us".

So excuse me if I feel like vomiting every time I see a conservative mentally and emotionally abusing a child, filling his or her young head with lies, and fear, and guilt, and shame, and most of all, hate.

Fuck you, all of you tea baggers. You make me sick.

2. LOL
"I wish there was a way to enforce a law that takes children away from bad parents."

There are a number of laws on the books that do that very thing. Fortunately for us Americans, belonging to a political party that is not in power is not (yet) grounds for the state to remove children from their homes.

3. I think encouraging kids to parrot parental beliefs totally sucks.
And I don't care if they're liberal or conservative beliefs.

I think kids should be allowed to be kids, free of politics, free of "viewpoints," free of arguments. If you want to go to the protest, get a babysitter to take the kids to the playground and have FUN, not be surrounded by angry adults shouting shit.

Children grow up too fast already. Leave them alone. Let them be children.

When I hear a child "performing" by spouting a perspective they heard from Mommy or Daddy, I feel sorry for that kid, even if I agree with the perspective. I know that he or she is thinking they're doing "good" by spouting whatever lines they've heard, but they don't understand nuance, they don't understand that not everyone feels the way their parents do, and I just get a sense that the kid is being used.

Also, if kids are forced to parrot parental views when they are young, it's often the case that they rebel against their parents by adopting the opposite views as teenagers and young adults. That's how, for example, Ari Fleischer come out of a diehard Democratic household.
