since January! Just heard it on MSNBC. YES, that's only Eight hundred & twelve dollars!

1. Surprised he raised anything.
I don't believe that he's running in 2010 and if he is, he shouldn't. He'll be lucky to hang on to the seat for another year.

He has over a $100,000 in debt. I don't think we will be seeing him in 2010.

He didn't run for the Senate seat. He was appointed to the office. Is that what he had to pay Blago to appoint him?

8. Probably legal fees
for both his potential legal case to be seated and also to consult for his grand jury testimony and possible legal charges in the whole blago scandal.

The worst calculation was by his lawyers, who figured that IF he eventually got his Senate seat, he would be able to raise the money to pay them.
