In response to the teabag party nonsense, we are going to have a Thank You Rally

A group of us decided today that it would be most appropriate to thank our Democratic congressmen in this area for their votes on the Stimulus Bill and their efforts to bring federal dollars to our area.

Still in the planning stages but just thought I would share. Maybe other DUers who live in districts with Dem reps might want to do the same thing?

I would instead thank him for the tax cuts, since the teabagging was all about taxes. n/t

4. I live in SC, in a Republican district, but here's my idea.

Since my Rep and our Gov (ugh) are against the stimulus, people in areas such as this should hold "Thank you" rallies for those who DID vote for it.

At least Obama won my county. :)
