2. Do you really think anyone who had
heard anything about Mr. Pickens would reply to an aggressive post like this?

4. Yeah
An "aggressive" post?

What does that mean?

If it means I'm mean, then anyone who dislikes the Great T-Bone would chime in.

And if there are any defenders of his, they would jump to his rescue from my mean clutches.

"Aggressive" post?

Good one!

6. Well, he claims
That he lost a lot of money because of recent "troubles". However, considering that every word coming out of that man's mouth is a lie...

10. Well, to be fair
Looking at old Boone's contributions, the last time he gave money to freedomworks was in 2001:

http://www.newsmeat.com/billionaire_political_donations/T_Boone_Pickens.php

However, since I love finding dirt on Boone, I went over to see who he's currently playing with over at Muckety:

Note that if you click on the box for his water stealing company, Mesa Water, you'll see that it is being represented by the lobbying firm, Vinson & Elkins. Then, click on V&E's little box and observe who is working for Vinson & Elkins:

Alberto Gonzales!

12. Well, to be fair again
Gonzales was a partner @ Vinson & Elkins. I'm not sure he's gone back to them. Did he ever officially resign from his partnership? Anyone know?

15. I'm just guessing, but in a sister post to this one, I asked the same about Gonzo-what he's up to
He's still listed as unemployed. I shoudl thing that if for no other reason than appearances, he's list that partnership if he could.

I suspect he's no longer there.

16. Even they don't want him
Pretty sad when the firm that lobbies for Halliburton doesn't want their old pal back.

17. He really is radioactive
He was, from all accounts, a mediocre lawyer. We know his legal mind is sorta twisted and easily led astray. Now that he so blatantly covered up for crimes, even criminals don't want him.
