Grade President Obama (Vote in the poll ASAP)
The republicans are sending the below link around to have people vote and they are driving the 'F' grade up.

We need to vote ASAP in the MSNBC poll so that WE DEMOCRATS can beat the republicans!

EVERYONE, click on the link below and give him the "A" he deserves.

4. Knee-jerk "F" is a joke & everyone knows it..
They should just throw out the "F"s & average the others..No one with half-a brain could call his short tenure a failure

5. That's the RESULTS page, the poll is in another place and is old and over.
This was discussed several days ago...there were some 2 million "votes"...a couple hundred from DU wouldn't change anything.

6. Sorry...
I did not know it was old.
Someone was posting about it in the comments at HuffPo and I thought it was newer.
The link that I posted though is the poll because I used it to vote today... you only see the results after you have voted.

7. At this stage? "U" or "DDH" or "DNA" or something similar
- whatever notation the person doing the grading uses to indicate that the person they are marking has not yet produced enough work to deserve a grade, but that they see no reason to assume they are not doing fine.

I am reasonably impressed by the talk he is talking. His first steps appear to mostly have been in about the right directions, but three months is not long enough to judge a walk.

:-His policies on the economy appear logical, but it's too soon to see if they were the right ones or not (and, indeed, he'll probably be running for re-election before we can make a well-informed judgement on that).

:-He has promised to press ahead for a two-state solution in the ME, and to end DADT in the army, both of which will please me if he does them, but I'm not 100% convinced he will.

:-His health care proposals would be a step in the right direction, but not as large a one as he should take.

:-I think that publishing the torture memos but not prosecuting low-ranking CIA officials were both good decisions.

:-He's committed the US to closing Guantanamo, which is a good thing.

:-I don't know whether or not keeping troops in Afghanistan is a good idea, but I think it probably is.

:-He is withdrawing from Iraq; doing so faster might be better but I'm not in a position to have an informed opinion on that.

:-He hasn't made any moves (that I know of, I may have overlooked something) on gay marriage/civil unions yet, which is a shame.

So, in summary "promising prospects; given that he's only been in office 3 months there's no way he *could* have delivered very much yet so the fact that he hasn't doesn't count against him".
