9. Great voice, and

I have to say that watching her performance in the context of the audience behaving like a bunch of jerks beforehand only to end up being stunned is quite powerful, too.

At the same time, there is something about the whole thing that bothers me. First, I'm not some sort of perfect person who never makes judgments about people based upon how they look. But I have to say that I'm not quite getting the amazement that many seem to be feeling about how a woman who most wouldn't consider beautiful has a very good voice. Do that many people really associate good looks with vocal talent? I've never noticed any correlation between the two.
