Just when you thought right wing Christians could sink no lower
Edited on Sun Apr-19-09 05:55 PM by dsc
they public attack a 17 year old kid. I would say shame on them but they literally don't know what shame means.

http://americansfortruth.com/news/watch-it-17-year-old-vermont-boy-testifies-for-homosexual-marriage.html

In case you only wish to see his video that got them into their snit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u95a3Kp8lkg&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Famericansfortruth%2Ecom%2Fnews%2Fwatch%2Dit%2D17%2Dyear%2Dold%2Dvermont%2Dboy%2Dtestifies%2Dfor%2Dhomosexual%2Dmarriage%2Ehtml&feature=player_embedded

Here is the text of their vile crappiness.

Behold in the YouTube video below the polar opposite of wisdom. It is sad and troubling, on so many levels: a 17-year-old boy, James Neiley, argues for same-sex “marriage” in a hearing prior to the Vermont Senate voting to legalize the same. Young, effeminate James is right about one thing: the cultural battle over the homosexual campaign to revolutionize “marriage” is, indeed, ultimately about whether homosexual behavior and relationships are OK and deserve government recognition and the rewards we used to reserve for actual marriage. But he’s wrong about everything else — including the idea that legalized “gay marriage” will ultimately validate his choice to embrace a homosexual identity. Before Vermont liberals, maybe, but not before a holy God, because Neiley is on a very dangerous eternal path. There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death (Proverbs 14:12).

As a Christian, I believe that every homosexual “coming out” is a tragedy — balanced off, as it were, by the wonderful testimonies of men and women who have “come out” of homosexuality. My heart aches over this mere child who has convinced himself of a very big adult lie — that he is intrinsically “gay.” Now the homosexual activists and fellow travelers cheer as James’ self-deception becomes a platform to promote corollary lies, of which “same-sex marriage” is but one. He even talks about having children! We will write some more about this video but in the meantime please pray for this confused teenager — that he will find and receive godly counsel and escape the clutches of a sin movement that endangers body and soul. Send us your note to him for us to publish; write americansfortruth@comcast.net:

I just don't know what to say. Despicable seems too lame an adjective.

On edit fixed the video link.

1. I have never set a nadir for that measure...
I did try for awhile.. but they undercut it so regularly that I decided it was a waste of time.

2. I'd give a thousand bucks to meet Mr. LaBarbera alone in a dark alley.
And that's all I'm saying about it.

3. the reality
When I was in high school, most of us were heterosexual. One guy who went through didn't know much about anything when he was 13, but the older guys there, who were heterosexual, used to tell him he was gay, which I guess he was.

The fundamentalist preacher tries to make it sound like some big gay conspiracy is trying to make this kid thinks he gay. But like he says, the heterosexual kids were who told him he was gay.

5. Why it's so fun for a young person
to come out and say they are gay. Why I remember my Sister, when she came out of the "closet" walking to school with my her, having shit thrown at us from passing cars, WHO WOULDNT WANT TO ENJOY that kind of treatment? Being called the most vile names a human being can think of, why it's just the ultimate thrill!

And most of them called themselves Christians. They dare to speak for God, passing judgement.

I salute this young man's courage. I don't know if I would have that kind of courage, after what I had to go through, just being a sibling of a lesbian.

So often, young people are pushed via peer pressure and bullying to harm themselves. Stand strong stand tall.

6. Right wing "Christians" are the same people who have ignored science
throughout history in order to support their "beliefs".

The more they are ignored and marginalized, the better. I have no use for them.
