Trust me.Bamboo is in no danger of disappearing.

We have bamboo growing at my place.The stuff grows and grows and grows amd grows and grows and there is no getting rid of it once its root system is in place.
Bamboo is in no danger of being over harvested.It grows to fast.

I found this website while searching for bamboo tipi (teepee) poles...



Too bad you're not closer--I have a big pile of them behind my house, some 60-70' tall. The utility company had to chop them down one night when a rainstorm caused them to knock out the power at my house. Believe me, they were not happy about my bamboo forest back there, not one bit.

Anyway, I was wandering around today looking for bamboo teepee poles myself and totally forgot they were out there, so thanks for the reminder.

24. I think all of the structures are in Colombia.

This bamboo home was developed as low income housing in Bogata, Colombia.
