Another family succumbs to despair
This happened literally around the corner from me.

"Quite frankly, this is the worst. It's just evil."

Middletown -- A 34-year-old CSX Railroad worker killed his wife and three young pajama-clad children before turning a shotgun on himself, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office said at a news conference Saturday afternoon.

How many families have succumbed to despair? How many more will there be?

1. The FAMILY didn't succumb to despair. The dad/hubby did.

2. That seems less *despair* and more like one man with serious mental problems
..too bad his family had to die becaue of it.

4. Agreed.
And he not only shot and killed them, but butchered them with knives for good measure. One man with mental problems and apparently his solution was to slaughter his family in their beds, including the little children.

3. selfish prick
decided that his family couldn't live without him so he killed them instead of dealing with his own problems. Don't try to paint this guy as a victim of despair or anything else. He's a selfish prick who killed his family, then himself and there is no excuse for it.

5. I've always wondered...
... why guys like this don't start with themselves first and leave everyone else out of it. But nooo... they've got to butcher the whole family first.
