I earlier had hoped she would beat Harman in that primary two plus years ago... She made it relatively a decent battle. She'd be a good person to replace Harman if we need to replace her soon.

3. Well perhaps not just yet, but if this AIPAC investigation forces her to resign...

I might be a little overstating my verbage here with the early stages of things coming to light, but we should be ready to move to get a progressive in her seat if need be...

4. I'm not sure what Marcy is up to these days...
She was President of Progressive Democrats here in LA...

I was lucky enough to hear her talk a couple of times, and she's very smart.

That run against Jane Harmon was her FIRST ever run for public office...

I thought it was a long shot, and that turned out to be the case. Still, she scared Harmon into moderating (at least a little bit) her hawkish, right-wing views.

It was a warning shot across the bow for Harmon, and to her credit then, she heard it.

7. I just tried to send her an email there to encourage her to run but her mbox is full...
... and it bounced back. I'm not sure if that's a good sign that a lot of people are feeling the same way I am, or if she's not really doing much for PDA at the moment that would have her check that mailbox frequently... I'd like to think the former!

6. Harman should step down now
and put Marcy on the ballot for a special election with hand counted paper ballots.
