Republicans are not against smoking

or in favor of no smoking laws. They are against regulation, and that is a regulation. Just like not polluting a river, or not dumping nuclear (nucular) waste in a forest, or in the ocean. They believe we cannot afford regulations like those.
And they are in favor of big business. The death merchants, the tobacco companies are ... big business. Known as big tobacco.
Now I will say I have known a few Republicans who were not stupid enough to such on cancer sticks, and spread the stench of it around to other people. But they thought other people should be free to do that.
They also thought other people should be free to carry as many guns as they like, and shoot them any time they want. Freedom, right.
But I have known far more liberals, lefties, democrats, health minded people, bicyclists, environmentalists, vegetarians, and others who had the sense not to burn stink weed and suck on it.
Now, I am NOT talking about cannibas familiarus, sativa, weed, loco weed, ganja. Obviously that you smoke to get a buzz, high, flyin', another level, nirvana, etc. Rather than just lung cancer.
