Am I the only one who can't watch "The Ed Show" because Ed seems like a
grade A Republican doing a schtick.
Sort of like a serious reverse Colbert?

2. He's more conservative than I am, but I don't think he's that bad.
But he has way too many conservative (Medved for example this evening) and faux journalists (anyone from Politico) on his show. He needs to have more liberal voices on his cable show.

6. I don't want to hear from that parade of conservatives
They have a whole channel on which to bloviate. He seems to prefer playing defense. x(

7. He's an ex-Republican but now he calls himself a Progressive
But I think he's just a Progressive Republican, so he's not nearly as left as we are. He's pretty practical though and uses common sense. He's also for the little people and believes in the value of the middle class. I don't watch him because I'm too far left for him, but I think he communicates well with Republicans and makes them less extreme in their views. He has his place and that's as a left leaning Republican.

9. I Like Him And Listen To Him On The Radio......
but his TV program and personna is just not doing it for me. I always flip the channels.

My vote for Ed's slot would have been Ron Reagan.

A Reagan doing a Progressive show would really make the RW'ers nutsy - even more so than they are now.

12. I just mean his personality, tone of voice, attitude more than any
quote or thing he said. To me he just seems like the kind of guy who would hang out with Rush Limbaugh.

13. It's the "Bells & Whistles" and distractions on his set..and the way they are
"positioning him" on MSNBC that makes me unable to watch more than 5 minutes of his show...hard as I try.

And, although I didn't listen to his radio show that much...when I did..it was far better than what MSNBC Producers have turned him into. :-(

14. I agree - I can only take him in small doses.
Some people think Chris Matthews is a Democrat , but I disagree with that. Schultz is only a couple degrees to the left of Matthews. People that stick their fingers into the political winds to want to keep their jobs...
