Sub story: A whale of a video from Maui

Do humpback whales think submarines are sexy? Maybe not, but there's new proof that males of the species will do their best to impress the females, even if it means cavorting right up against the portholes of a submerged sub.

That was the case on April 5 outside of Lahaina, when an amateur videographer on the Atlantis tourist submarine captured a pod of at least five male cetaceans engaging in "competitive group behavior" to catch the attention of a nearby female.
