A question on how to submit a proposal
to congress. exactly, how is it done?

I've got an excellent idea for legislation, but I have no idea on how to go about proposing it. I submitted an idea a few years back, but i never even got a reply from anyone, and I now believe I didn't do it correctly.

It is for a national idea, not a local one, and one, I think, that will help put a lot more money back in the coffers, and help establish more jobs.

So, how do I go about bringing this idea forward?

I also have another proposal for my state legislature, and would I be better off sending it though my state senator, or directly though the governor's office?

1. I would send it to my Congressman
and both of my Senators. As for the state legislature, it would probably be best to give it to your state senator rather than the governor. State senators are a lot more accessible than governors.
