Scarborough wants me to get my tiny violin out for the CIA and play
it.

I'm sorry but I have a hard time empathizing with people in the CIA, especially those who knowingly sign up to kill and maim and undermine other peoples. I don't understand the mindset and I don't really care if that agency feels demoralized and disrespected. If I had my way, it wouldn't exist. Period. I get really tired of hearing how these honorable people serve us and protect us while their leaders actively and have continually sought to strip us of free speech and assembly and our civil rights in the name of protecting. Cry me a freaking river.

BTW, Joe, my tiny little violin is in the shop for repair.

1. That's misdirection on his part...Obama gave the CIA a pass....
on torture. It's the Bush thugs that he is trying to protect by focusing your attention on the CIA.

2. The CIA is an incredibly diverse organization
Not everyone who works for the CIA is a spy.

There are journalists, analysts, advisers, etc.

Some of these people never leave their offices and some people clean those offices.

About the only thing everyone who works for the CIA has in common is they possess the same security clearance... and their check is signed by the US Government

3. Valeria Plame
She seems like a worthwhile and extremely competent CIA agent. Is she any good at torturing people?

The Nuremberg Principals only seem to apply to "the little countries" and war losers. War Winners are above international law, apparently.
