Janice Karpinski is back in the pubic eye
Demoted from General to Col and then "retired".

Paraphrasing her interview on the CBS Early Show: The line is clear - it goes from the top of the administration, to the various prisons, Baghram, Abu Ghraib to Gitmo, by the commanders who moved from one to the other." We're they scapegoated, Harry Smith asked her. A wry chuckle. "Yes of course we were. Those seven soldiers? Were they just seven bad apples? Come on."

I always felt this was one of the more obvious miscarriages of justice.

Think about it.

The Cheney administration went to ALL lengths to protect its evil program of torture and its high level operatives, including attempts to destroy people like Karpinski who posed a threat.

Cheney is still out there pushing the same buttons.

How safe is this country while a radical like Cheney is at liberty?
