Wife and Mother on Verge of Losing Home Kills Herself

Balderrama faxed a letter to her mortgage company at 2:30 p.m., saying that "By the time you foreclose on my house I'll be dead."

The Boston Globe reports today: "The mortgage company notified police, who found her body at 3:30 p.m. The auction had been scheduled to start at 5 p.m., when bidders showed up at the house and found it surrounded by police cruisers. But, unbeknownst to buyers and to Balderrama, the auction had been postponed by the time she grabbed her husband's high-powered rifle

2. The only silver lining is that she was not deluded enough to take ANYONE ELSE with her.

I don't understand these latest rash of murder-suicides. However, I can partially wrap my mind around *SEVERE* emotional pain and hopelessness to the point of ending one's own life. I do wish someone would have intervened and helped her, but at least she only took herself out. :(

What is so damn chilling about The AntiSocial Personality is that the vast majority of individuals are MEN and they register as "perfectly normal" on many personality scales.

Too bad that for all their intelligence and charm, they have NO CONSCIOUS and ergo, no remorse.

It truly is "all about them."

Many high functioning businessmen are antisocial and/or narcissistic.

But yes, there are a few women who qualify as an exception to prove the rule.

7. I'll accept your suggestion. Not unlike we should not be surprised that the profile of the

average serial murderer in the USA is above-average IQ white males between the ages of 18-35. I was NOT shocked to see the arrest of the Boston Medical Student. Remember Ted Bundy? :scared:

11. I know it's difficult to understand

I never thought of suicide in my life but it's possible I may lose my house and my job at the same time soon and I must admit the thought has crossed my mind. I am really tired of starting over.

I went to the doctor's on Monday and got some meds it scared me so.

12. It is bad news. But I have to say..at least she didn't take anyone with her like all those

freaks in the past few months. But, yeah, very sad that she couldn't stand it and that a gun was handy.

The lenders are too stupid and stubborn to try to make a loan work in a vast number of these cases.
