If the beauty contest contestant opposed same sex marriage but was ok with civil unions,
would your opinion of her be different?

Would that make her a bigot?

6. Beauty Queens should decide all of our important issues for us.
Beautiful people are wise beyond our ken.

7. read her answer
she specifically said that she thought it was great to live in America where people can choose but that it wasn't her thing. obviously, she's mistaken in thinking people can choose, but she seems to not really care who anyone else marries. isn't that what we're looking for?

9. I am very concerned about what beauty contestants think about the issues of the day.
I remember running out to donate heavily to map-relief organizations after hearing Miss Teen South Carolina's excellent discourse on map poverty.

15. Just wait until somebody asks her opinion on politics.
Imagine this place blowing up if it turns out she's a wacky conservative.

10. If she hadn't opened her yap about it to begin with
I would never had known she existed. Therefore I would have had no opinion.

gay marriage is hurting them then you'll have a better position. Which means you'll never have a better position. There are tens of thousands of gay married couples. I have yet to see the sky falling. "Because I say so" is not a fucking legitimate point.

So no she would still be a bigot no matter what, she just needs to learn to keep her fucking religion out of everyone elses life. Of course if she wants to live in a theocracy she can move in with the Taliban.
