Marc Thiessen is running scared and spinning words

on Wash. Journal this a.m.

he was defending the neo con torture. said "Bush is a victim of his success".

said that when prisoners were thrown against walls that they were "soft walls". that we built soft walls to throw them against. really, he said that.

he kept referring to the terrorists as sitting in caves, even caves in Africa, learning all our torture methods now that the info has been released. said 'caves' a number of times. does he really believe that?

he gave a list of all the 'saves' that torture gave us. named some bldgs. that weren't blown up, etc.. I say prove it.

a number of callers weren't buying is stuff.

1. I almost threw up when he called Yoo and Bybee 'Great Americans.'
:puke:

See, the smiley threw up just thinking about it.

2. My question is since the US came up with nothing new in the way of torture, why would it be new
information to 'terrorists in caves'? The techniques of torture have been around for centuries.

6. The most disturbing aspect were the number of callers
(callers who are Americans) who agreed with him.

I really couldn't believe it.

7. yes, and I can't get over the caller that said:

"the president is acting like an empty suit"

how does an empty suit act? I wonder.

8. "Caves". It's all about dehumanizing them.
Classic. When you can identify a group as sub human then whatever you do to them doesn't count.
