"Prosecuting Bush and Cheney" is an increasingly common headline crawl on the teevee nooz

Be it local, network or kablenooz, those words, as a crawl or teaser, or headline, is becoming more and more commonplace. It seems that the issue (if not any particular conclusions) is taking on a life of its own.

We've seen such patterns before. Some of the outcomes of that sort of media saturation with the same fundamental sensationalism:

Clinton got impeached

Gore lost

We went to war in two places

We won Congress back in 06

We won it all in 08

Will we see prosecutions of household names? In my own mind, if we get the CIA's version of Lynde England, that's just not good enough. Not even close.

Will at least *one* of these names be on the list of upcoming trials?

Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice, or Gonzo?

1. Did you ever think you'd see the day? I'm delighted. It will all take
time, but I'm still delighted!

2. Addington and Yoo
were the architects of the whole mess, justifying the illegal. Any prosecution has to include the two of them.

3. True and true .... but ......
.... do you see them as 'household names'? I don't. I see them as sufficiently consequential as to be meaningful, but I suspect not 1 in 100 citizens knows their names.

My question is to widely known names. And in lieu of a knowm name, I'd settle for a known job title. Like DCI. Or some General.

5. Plenty of legal precedent.
Nuremberg trials

After World War II, the trials of the 24 chief Nazi war criminals November 1945–October 1946 by an international military tribunal consisting of four judges and four prosecutors: one of each from the USA, UK, USSR, and France. An appendix accused the German cabinet, general staff, high command, Nazi leadership corps, SS, Sturmabteilung, and Gestapo of criminal behaviour.

6. Food for thought - G.Carlin's definition of bipartisan:
"A larger than usual deception is being carried out against the public."

Now, I'm not framing that in the dem/repub context, but the intentions of the real corporate power that owns and manages our phony democracy, versus what the people expect, and the perception of the US around the world, and of course, the sudden switcheroo of the M$M.
