As the Public Demand for Prosecutions grows one imagines a lot of 'lawyering up' is going on
Edited on Wed Apr-22-09 02:50 PM by ThomWV
Watching the news programs this afternoon I can't help but chuckle as I ponder how many of the old Administration must be out lawyer shopping this afternoon. Once the shield was pushed aside the calls for investigation and prosecution - where ever it goes - started to ring out last night and are growing noticeably by the hour. By this evening's news hours every turd in Congress that ever kissed a baby will have guarded comments favoring serious investigation and an Earnest desire 'not to pass judgment now, before the facts are known.' They've all been saying it all afternoon.

That's just fine with me. That's all I've ever wanted to see. Just an open and fair investigation comparing what was done by whom with what was the law at the time. I do not care that the information that results of the torture was useful to the torturers - I'm sure the loot from a bank heist is welcome by the robbers too - but that sure as hell doesn't make it right.

1. It's part of Obama's economic stimulus package
LOTS of money will be generated in legal fees, which will go back into the economy!

4. Oh good -- with the economy like it is, it's good to hear about any increased demand for services.
And especially THIS demand. ;-)
