3. To answer your questions.
1. They should have Geneva civilian protections. They should not have Geneva POW protections, because they fail to meet the rigorous standards of POW status.

2. They aren't. The news has been talking about almost nothing but the impending investigations and possible trials for torture.

3. The Constitution is not the Bible. I don't understand why we would want to "spread and practice its words." I'd be happy if we simply ensured our laws conformed to the Constitution.

5. We're spreading much worse than the words of the Constitution
but rather a false promise of freedom and democracy. I was talking about trials for the alleged terrorists that are being detained.
