DISH Earth, Channel 212: Isn't she beautiful?
Channel 212 on Dish Network is a realtime view of our Mother Earth from space. She shimmers in blue and white swirls in the sunlight now. This morning when I awoke, she was hiding the sun behind her and teasing us with her curves. It's hard to imagine that we would hurt her.

I don't have Dish Network, but I have several photos of our
planet.

What a lot of people don't realize is,
this big blue marble is all we have.

If we destroy her, we go down with her.

Thanks for posting this.

Every day is Earth Day!

2. There it is!
Complete with Kubrick style classical music. :)

IMO it's a shame that we still don't have an HD camera in orbit.

4. ooh!
Thanks for the info. I don't usually stray from my "Favorites" list so wouldn't have learned about it for a bit.

Shades of "2001: A Space Oddesey" The Earth plus classical music.
