Forget reforming the credit card rules. How about raising wages
across the board, taking care of college costs and instituting single payer health care so we don't need to use the damn things?

2. Raising the minimum wage?
that would be cool. Health care reform will never be single-payer, unless of course all of our representatives vote for it. I've read there are 3 single-payer bills...2 in the Senate, and 1 in the House. I'm sure they were DOA.

3. SOmewhere I read that all things being equal, if the minimum wage had the same relationship to
housing costs and automobiles prices as in the 70's, it would be $13/hour today!

6. The Government Can't Exactly Raise Wages Across the Board
but it can raise the minimum wage to $10-12/hour. That would in turn bump up wages somewhat above that.
