Anyone Play the "Plan It Green" Game
MSN Games is offering a free download of the game "Plan It Green". As you might be able to gain from the name, the game is about creating/building green communities. In the game each level has building goals such as upgrading old homes, building community parks, building eco-homes and businesses, improving the health and environmental quality of the community, and building recycling centers. I played the game today just to see how it worked. I found the game pretty interesting. I am not sure how close the game is to reality, but it does show the players how much certain upgrades cost and how much benefit those upgrades make to the community. I think it is a game adults can play, but it seems that it could also be helpful for kids. As the player continues to make upgrades to the community it becomes greener in that grass begins to grow and things become brighter. So, in the end I enjoyed playing the game in that it was pretty fun and entertaining.
