We were in the car, passing some road construction when out of nowhere comes, ' And what's the deal with the high speed rail system? Yadda, yadda yadda, yadda. On and on she went complaining about what a waste of money the proposed rail system would be. Let me say that I have tried to be good. I tried not to mention anything about anything for the entire trip and here she is just spewing about a train! I simply took a breath and said, 'I'm not sure what the plan is but I do know that over one trillion dollars has been spent on the Iraq war with not penny paid to date.' It was like magic, not another word was uttered.....about anything. I'm gonna take that as a victory! Peace, Kim
