Ok some of you may have read how I bumped my head oh ten days ago
in Mexico City... I am happy at this point that our first instinct, go to ER, was not followed....

Even if that should have happened...

That said, last monday I went to doc and she said, exercise, try when the pain goes down

So today I got on my elliptical at the possible lowest of settings and only for eight minutes

Never ceases to amaze me how hard it is to build endurance and how fast one looses it

Then again, the trauma I did was fairly significant... (Yep even had three days when I was eating up a storm, not fun)

Will know in an hour or so if my knee starts sceaming if I jumped the gun... but right now it actually feels better

:-)

So if you get injured or sick, get back on the horse as soon as you can.

It does wonders to the body

1. I'm a little confused...
How is getting on the elliptical going to help you recover from a whack in the head?

7. I think I stretched the ligaments too. I spent a lot of time with that sucker raised with
an ice pack.

It never hurt to stand and walk gently. Getting dressed was sure a challenge.

2. I really smashed my kneecap two months ago. After that finally went down...
I caught a beast of a case of poison ivy.

So, it's been nearly two months without working out! I just started back, and am I ever disgusted with how difficult it was.

It comes with age. Not saying you are old either. I don't even know how old you are? But I have noticed my recuperative powers have really diminished since I hit 50 a few years ago.

15. Want to know when I really noticed it?
When I would drink beer. When I was young I could drink a six-pack one day catch a good buzz and the folowing day I would be feeling great. Not no more.

Now if I drink a six-pack the following day when I wake up I feel like someone has been beating on my whole body with a Ball Pean hammer.

These days I have only one beer and call it quits for the day. Then I have no problem.
