8. So is mine, in Houston. WIth coughs. And half the class at school.
Just this week. I would not be at all surprised to find that it has spread to Houston, with all of the traffic between here and Mexico.

9. It's entirely possible. I had a horrible flu when I was preggers with ElderGreenKid. This is
no fun but in no way stacks up to what I had back then.

10. Here's another one: HealthMap- Aggregated content from Google, WHO, ProMED
You can set it up to track what you want. It tracks everything:

11. So pink is possible/investigating and purple is actual case?
Interesting map. Thanks. It appears even more wide-spread already than reported.

12. From what I've read, virtually every case can be traced to a visit to Mexico. Even the NZ ones.
So the map could have those arc-arrows.

13. The young people in Texas have no connection to travel in Mexico or swine, far as I know.
Oddly there are no cases in urban areas closer to the border: San Antonio proper, Laredo, Brownsville, McAllen, etc and none in Mexican cities like Monterrey.

18. I do hope that it does not. Racists like CNN and Lou Dobbs could make it worse
I already heard one religious comment that was racist. Something about pestilance. Racists are idiots who believe all of their kind are peaches and cream. In reality, most are paranoid, mentally ill, ignorant, poor, superstitious, and backward. Some saucer of peaches and cream.
